Student Life
At Bruriah Middle School, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our vibrant student life offers every girl the opportunity to discover her passions, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong friendships. From competitive teams to creative outlets, Bruriah students experience a dynamic and supportive environment where personal growth and Bruriah spirit thrive.

Here are some of the highlights of our Student Life activities:

G.O.
Our student-run G.O. plays a central role in shaping school spirit and creating a positive atmosphere. Through events, chagigas, themed days, and chesed initiatives, G.O. empowers students to lead, collaborate, and bring energy to the Bruriah experience.

Torah Bowl
Bruriah students shine in Torah knowledge and team spirit through our Torah Bowl team. Competing against other schools, students master material from the all areas of Tanach and meforshim, deepening their understanding of Tanach in a fun, engaging, and competitive setting.

Basketball
Our Bruriah Lightning basketball team is the highlight of the Bruriah Middle School athletic experience. Building athleticism, confidence, and teamwork skills, the Lightning compete against other teams in the Metropolitan Jewish Day School Basketball League. Let's Go Lightning!

Robotics Team
The Bruriah Middle School Robotics Team brings STEM to life as students design, build, and program robots to complete challenges and compete in regional competitions. This exciting program fosters problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, as they develop foundational STEM skills that will propel them through Middle School, High School, and beyond.
